New Blog for 2011

Just a quick post to introduce my newly redesigned blog to the interwebz…

My blogging started with The Real Estate TrendMill in 2007 and after seeing the limitations I’ve decided to trade up to a WordPress site. It’s been a while since I’ve posted to the blog but with the new format and a new year, I hope to get back into writing and hopefully pick up a few new readers.

My writing has been mainly focused on commercial real estate in the Central MA market where I live and work. Commercial RE, though a big part of my life, is not my only area of focus. I also own several multi-family investment properties and I’d like to start writing more about that industry as well. I’m not into national trends so much, not big into stats and rates and blah blah blah…, and I would look pretty silly if I started writing about that stuff. I’m very “hyperlocal” and will be focusing most of my efforts on local info, local news, and local businesses….

Let me know what you think about the new site. I’ve gone with the Agency Theme by StudioPress and built the site on their Genesis Framework. The tools StudioPress has put together are really amazing and I’ve only just scratched the service of what is possible with this site so please bear with me while I fumble through the design and maintenance. I’ll be adding more pages and more features in the days and weeks to come.

So enjoy and thanks for stopping by…
